Hello and welcome to the Academy of Basketball,

My name is Paul Nolette, I am the owner and will be starting my 10th year of providing quality instruction in the York County area for boys and girls aging from 3 years old to seniors in high school.

During this time, I have provided instruction to over 1000 children. This rising number confirms my belief that Parents are looking for activities for their children that will not only challenge them in athletic endeavors, but also provide an environment which will allow them to grow socially by gaining self confidence.

The Academy provides the “CARROT” that at times allows your child to gain the needed confidence to make a significant change in who they are. You will find the Academy places an emphasis on Respect, Hard Work and Having Fun.

Skills and drills

Classes start Monday  May 6th

The AOB will be offering a 6 week skills and drills session for children in pre-school to 6^th grade. Classes will be up-tempo with a heavy emphasis on ball handling and shooting. Classes will be limited to 16 students per class.

Pre-school classes will focus on creating a fun introductory class that will introduce a variety of basketball skills that will be reinforced through drills and game playing.

Classes will be held every Monday.

Fee‘s: $60

Times:

Pre K/K – 5:00-6:00

Grades 4-6 – 6:00-7:00

Spartans Summer Basketball camp

Starting July 8th

Sanford Boys varsity basketball coach Paul Nolette, along with his staff and players, will be conducting a month long basketball camp starting July 5th. Camp will run Monday - Thursday .  Camp promises to be high energy with the staff putting the campers through a variety of skills and drills ending with daily scrimmages.   Games wiit surronding communities will be scheduled (depending on availability) for thursday's.

Camp will be for boys and girls in grades 1-8 and will run all week from 8AM-12PM. The fee for the camp is $60 and will be held at Nasson Community Center.  if you prepay for all 4 weeks the fee will be $200.

AOB summer basketball camp 

Week 1: August 12th-16th

Week 2: August 19th - 23rd

AOB will be conducting its annuanl summer basketball camp Starting August 12th.  Camp will run Monday through Friday, from 8-4 at Nasson Community Center.

Camp will focus on developing players skill sets, through drills, competion and game playing.  

Champ of camp will be determined in each age group.

The fee for the week long camp is $150 and will be limited to 50 campers. 

Spring AAU Phase 2

First practices during the week of 4/29 with games on the week-end of 5/4

Teams will be developed for boys and girls in grades 5 – High School.

Teams will play 2 games each week-end for 5 weeks. Each team will play 10 games and have 5 practices the fee for this package is $200 - if your child needs a jersey it will be an additional $23.

April  Vacation  Day Camp

The AOB is currently accepting registration for its April Vacation  Day camp. Camp will run from 8 A.M. to 4 P.M. Monday (4/19) through Friday  (4/23) at the Nasson Community Center.

Camp promises to offer a fun filled day, providing your child the opportunity to make friends and be in a safe, caring and structured environment. Staffing will be a 1:10 ratio with a site supervisor.

The following Activities will be offered : dodge ball, basketball, kickball, whiffle ball, capture the flag, daily trips to the Springvale Library and much more.

Participants must provide their own lunches. The camp is open to children 5-14 years old. Spots are limited, as I will only accept 20 children per week.
